Kimberly Suzanne Arnold, of Lookout Mountain, GA, beloved wife of James Arnold and wonderful mother to Jesse Arnold passed away on June 13, 2019. She was 44 years old. She was born June 2, 1975 in Richmond, IN to parents Bob and Linda Young Richards and her sister Elizabeth Richards Farmer.

Kimberly loved the outdoors and could often be found on Five Points Trail with family. Her husband could never keep up. They met on the East Buttress Route of Mount Whitney, CA, the highest mountain in the lower 48 states. She loved Lookout Mountain and climbed various neighborhood cliffs and boulders. Before the birth of her son, she had adventures in Thailand, South America and many summers in her treasured "Range of Light" the High Sierras.

Kimberly loved to play piano and was in the process of learning a new style of blues when she passed away. She had recently started to learn to play a cigar box guitar made by her husband and son for her recent 44th birthday.

She helped numerous young people in her job as a Physical Therapist for Walker County Schools and more recently, Siskin Children's Institute. She always had a bright smile and a cheerful word to neighbors, friends, co-workers and clients.

A m emorial service for Kimberly will be held on Sunday, July 7, 2019 at 12:00 pm at the New Beginning EPC Church in Spring City with Rev. Keith Gallagher officiating.  There will also be a celebration of her life in August in Chattanooga coordinated by Pastor Corby Shields.
