Kenneth Robbins age 76 of Spring City passed away Tuesday, August 1, 2023 at CHI Memorial Hospital in Hixson.

He was born in Spring City to the late Grover and Susie Godsey Robbins on November 24, 1946. Kenneth attended school in Wolf Creek. He worked at Scandlyn Lumber Co. in Spring City for 20 years and ended his career working for the City of Dayton for 19 years before retiring. Kenneth always believed in working and worked at various part time jobs including Gastown Service Center, Jerry Smith's Exxon and A. B. Fisher Trucking Co. He enjoyed farming and raising cows. Kenneth also enjoyed travelling with his family. He was of the Baptist faith.

Kenneth was also preceded in death by his sister Geraldine Couch and his brother Austin Robbins.

Survivors include his wife Margie Robbins of Spring City, his children Donna Youther of Dayton, Diane (Mike) Puckett of Spring City, Karen Garrison of Spring City, Darrell (Carla) Brown of Spring City, Gary (Melissa Grayson) Brown of Ten Mile and Greg (Kari) Brown of Evensville, nine grandchildren Melissa Harrison, Kevin Fugate, Timothy Newman, Justin Hickey, Latasha Hickey, Nathan Brown, Ashley Brown. Tyler Robbins and Boogie Robbins and several great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Friday, August 4, 2023 at 5pm in the chapel of Vaughn Funeral Home with Rev. Lawrence Waller officiating. Interment will follow in the Spring City Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Friday from 3 to 5pm at Vaughn Funeral Home.
