Kenneth Jewell age 89 of Spring City, Tennessee died on Saturday, September 30, 2023 at his residence.

He was born on July 10, 1934 in Rhea County, Tennessee to the late Will and Cora Jellett Jewell. Kenneth attended school in Rhea County. He worked at various jobs including the Southern Silk Mill, Jerry's Exxon, and Walt Garrison Trucking and ended his career at TVA Watts Bar, retiring in 1962. Kenneth enjoyed fishing and working in the garden. He was a member of Texas Grove Baptist Church.

Kenneth was also preceded in death by his first wife Margie Lee Jewell and son James "John" Jewell. He was the last of twelve children.

Survivors include his wife Shirley Jewell of Spring City, Tennessee; daughter Sharon (Felix) Fugate of Spring City, and step children Ray (Theresa) Fuller of Spring City and Kenny (Natalie) Fuller of Englewood, Florida; grandchildren April Reed, Joshua & Jeremy Revis, Jenna Jewell, Scott Fugate, and Shauna Beaty; great grandchildren Lily Price, Chase Reed, Hailey & Chloe Peppers, Lexi & Jordan Waldo, and Austen & Grace Fugate; and special nieces Deb Hampton and Judy Ward.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 2, 2023 at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Vaughn Funeral Home with Rev. Norman Huskey officiating. Interment will follow at Add Smith Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Vaughn Funeral Home on Monday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of services.
