Ken Reed, 66 died Friday, February 4, 2022 at CHI Memorial Hospital in Hixson. Ken was a lifetime resident of Grandview, Tennessee and was a graduate of Spring City High School "Class of 1973". He retired after 34 years with the La-Z-Boy Corporation. Ken enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a dedicated University of Tennessee football fan and was of the Baptist faith.

Ken was preceded in death by his father Ben Reed.

Survivors include his mother Lunelle Reed of Grandview, his son Blake (Lel ia) Reed of Rockwood, his longtime companion Carolyn Mahaffey of Sale Creek, his sisters Kathy (Gary) Harrison of Grandview and Jan (Larry) Bradley of Crossville, his brother Chuck Reed of Grandview , his grandchildren Ava, Riley and Madilyn Reed and his great grandchildren Bentley and Addilyn McDonald.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, February 9, 2022 at 2:00pm in the chapel of Vaughn Funeral Home with Rev. Carl Hunsucker officiating . The family will receive friends Wednesday from 12pm until the time of services. The interment in the Reed Cemetery will be a private .
