Kelso McDonald, 80, died Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at Parkridge Medical Center in Chattanooga.

A lifetime resident of Spring City, Kelso was the son of the late James and Laura Beavers McDonald.  Kelso was a welder and retired from Price Brothers and he also worked at Suburban Manufacturing Company for several years.   He loved to farm and enjoyed working on anything with an engine.  Kelso was of the Baptist faith and the last of seven siblings.

He was preceded in death by his wife Barbara Jean Swafford McDonald.

Survivors include his sons Randall McDonald of Concord, North Carolina and Edward (Hope) McDonald of Louisville, Tennessee and granddaughter Riley Grace McDonald.

The family will receive friends Friday, December 15, 2017 from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Vaughn Funeral Home.  There will be no services and burial will be in the Spring City Cemetery.
