Keith Allen Holloway, 58 died Saturday, January 27, 2018 at Blount Memorial Hospital in Maryville.

Originally from Rhea County, Keith was a graduate of Rhea County High School and served in the U. S. Marine Corp. He attended the University of Alabama and the University of California. Keith was employed at Wright Industries and was an innovator in his profession, his name is on several patents involving physics, chemistry and engineering. He loved to scuba dive, hunt, fish and ride motorcycles. Keith also played the guitar and did lighting for several rock bands. He was of the Baptist faith.

Keith was preceded in death by his father Edward "Babe" Holloway and his wife Tammy Pritchett Holloway.

Survivors include his mother Lois Etherton Holloway of Spring City, children Lindsey (Ryan) Zimmermann of Franklin, Tennessee and Alex Holloway and Quinn Holloway both of Maryville, brothers Audie (Marla) Holloway of Kingston, Tennessee, Robert Holloway and Daryl Holloway both of Spring City and David (Carol) Holloway of Brenham, Texas.

A memorial service with military honors will be held on Thursday, February 1, 2018 at 6:00 pm in the chapel of Vaughn Funeral Home with Roy Etherton officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Vaughn Funeral Home.
