Kathy Garrett, 60, died Thursday, January 23, 2020 at the Hospice of Chattanooga Care Center .

A lifetime resident of Rhea County, Kathy was born on March 29, 1959 to the late Joseph and Nellie Morgan Baldwin Jr. She was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith.  Kathy loved her family and especially her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her brothers Randy Baldwin, Jimmy Joseph Baldwin, Bill Baldwin and Mike Baldwin and sister Brenda Sigourney.

Survivors include her husband Gardner Garrett of Evensville, children Jennifer (Jeremy) Iles of Grandview and David (Jessica) Pugh of Evensville, brother Raymond Baldwin of Spring City, sisters Sarah Axley of Battle Creek, Michigan and Barbara Aikens and Rachel Simpson both of Vonore, Tennessee and eight grandchildren.

Funeral services are Satur day, January 25 , 2020 at 3:00 p m in the chapel of Vaughn Funeral Home with Rev. Harold Newby and Rev. Joseph Baldwin officiating.  Interment will follow i n the Spring City Cemetery.  The family will receive friends Satur day from 1:00 pm to 3:00 p m at Vaughn Funeral Home.
