Josie Claudine Manning , 82 , died Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at U. T. Medical Center in Knoxville.

A longtime resident of Spring City, Claudine was the daughter of the late Claude David and Nancy Heatherley Hawkins .  She and her late husband owned and operated Manning's TV.  Claudine was also an avid gardener.  She was a member of the Island Fort Baptist Church in Lake City, Tennessee .

Claudine was preceded in death by her husband Samuel Frank Manning, son Mark Douglas Manning, brothers Jerry Hawkins, Donnie and Ronnie Hawkins, Norris Roosevelt Hawkins and Lloyd Hawkins and sister Lillie Mae Hawkins.

Survivors include her son s Tim ( Wilma ) Manning of Rockwood and David Manning of Boise, Idaho, sisters Faye Cooper of Fountain Inn, South Carolina, Geneva Norton and Mary Sue Grant both of Lake City, Tennessee, Katherine Hawkins of Manitoba , Canada and Cherry Ann Lane of Clinton, Tennessee and grandchildren Sam Manning of Boise, Idaho, Max Manning of Knoxville and Jordan and Madison Manning both of Rockwood.

Graveside services are Mon day, June 18 , 20 18 at 1:00 p m at the Spring City Memorial Gardens with Rev. Randy Norton officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to the Animal Shelter Alliance of Rhea, 9118 Back Valley Road, Evensville, TN  37332
