Wayne Sutton age 72 of Evensville died Thursday, August 10, 2023 at Hospice Care Center of Chattanooga.

He was born on May 24, 1951 to the late Joseph Arthur and Mary Edith Headrick Sutton. Wayne attended Spring City High School. He then worked as a cabinet maker for Sharp's Cabinets in Dayton and T&A Cabinet Shop in Soddy. Wayne enjoyed fishing, raising chickens, and working in his garden. He attended High Point Baptist Church in Evensville, Tennessee.

Wayne is also preceded in death by his sisters Kathy Gonzalez and Annie Boles, and his brothers J.L., Bobby, and Hoss Sutton.

Survivors include his children John (Samantha) Sutton of Spring City, Tennessee, Joe (Daphne) Sutton of Sweetwater, Tennessee, and Janice Frederick of Rockwood, Tennessee; his brother Hubert Sutton of Evensville, Tennessee; his sisters Fronie Dillard of Evensville, Tennessee, Linnie May Clayton of Dayton, Tennessee, and Susan Sutton of Soddy, Tennessee; several grandchildren, one great grandchild, and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 12, 2023 at 10:00 A.M. in Pritchett Cemetery with Rev. Bobby Lee officiating. There will be no visitation.
