Joseph "Joe" E. Boyce, 69 died Sunday, November 29, 2020 at his residence .

Born on August 24, 1951 in Dayton, Ohio , Joe was the son of the late Wilfred A. and Anna Sisson Boyce. He was a graduate of Northridge High School in Dayton, Ohio. He was a retired industrial painter and a member of Painter' s Union Local #226, last working for Blaylock at Watts Bar .  Joe and his wife, Georgia, moved from Bradford, Ohio to the Spring City community in 1994.  He enjoyed racing motorcycles both motor cross and flat track and riding his Goldwing.  After his retirement, Joe also enjoyed woodworking.  He was passionate for his grandchildren and he always had a smile!  Joe was a member of the St. Andrew's Episcopal Church in Harriman, Tennessee.

Joe was preceded in death by his brother Thomas Boyce.

Survivors include his wife of 46 years Georgia L. Boyce of Spring City, children Brian (Milda) Boyce of Falls Church, Virginia, Alex (Kari) Boyce of Spring City and Kirsten (Clayton) Marrs of Chattanooga, sister Jeannetta (Bruce) Walker of Dunlap, grandchildren Trey Bennett, Tristan Johnson, Olivija Boyce, Aiden Boyce, Lana Johnson, Izabele Boyce and Jude Marrs and several nieces and nephews.

A private Memorial Mass will be held at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church in Harriman with Father Brad Jones officiating .

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Animal Shelter Alliance of Rhea, 9118 Back Valley Road, Evensville, TN  37332.
