Jonas A. Holloway Jr., 73, died Wednesday, June 21, 2017 at his home.

A lifetime resident of Grandview, Jonas was the son of the late Jonas A. and Evangeline Daniels Holloway Sr. He retired from the textile industry and was also a farmer.

Jonas was preceded in death by his wife Barbara Yvonne Holloway, sisters Dorothy Nelson, Mellie McNeal, Marie Janow, Berta Brock, Betty Troglin, Diana McCampbell, Maggie Ruth Miller and Bonnetta Rhear.

Survivors include his daughter Theresa "Tessie" Holloway of Grandview and sons Preston Holloway and Jonas Holloway III both of Grandview, sisters Janet Grant and Jody Janow both of Spring City and Alma Evans of Grandview

A graveside service will be Friday, June 23, 2017 at 2:00 pm at the Mt. Sulphur Cemetery. There will be no visitation.
