Johnny Ray Goss Sr., 72 of Evensville died Saturday January 16 , 2021 at CHI Memorial Hospital in Chattanooga.

Born on June 2, 1948 in Rockwood, TN, Johnny was the son of George Ed and the late Hazel Marie Thurman Goss . He was a lifetime resident of Rhea county. Johnny spend his lifetime in the business of transportation as a truck driver for the A1 Paving Company . He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and raising chickens. Johnny loved his boxer named Jake. He was of the Baptist faith.

He was preced ed in death by his wife Sharon L. Goss, his brother Ronnie Wayne Goss, and stepdaughter Shelia Janow.

Survivors include his father George Ed (Glenda) Goss of Spring City, his daughter Connie (Michael) Roberts of Tellico Plains, TN, son Johnny (Paula) Goss II of Evensville, TN, stepson Chuck (Lisa) McCampbell of Spring City, TN, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A s per his request, there will be no visitation or funeral service.
