John Kunkel age 69 of Grandview, Tennessee died on Thursday, January 25, 2024 at his residence.

He was born on September 30, 1954 to the late Calvin Morgan "Buster" Kunkel and Cora Lee Atkinson Brady and was a lifetime resident of the area. John was a graduate of Spring City High School "Class of 1974". He was a self-employed brick mason.  John enjoyed creek fishing. He was of the Baptist faith.

John is also preceded in death by his brother Michael Kunkel, and his half-sister Rosemary Thomas.

Survivors include his son Dustin (Meri) Kunkel of Crossville, Tennessee; and his grandchild Kassie Kunkel.

There will be no funeral services or visitation.
