Joe B. Bennett 79 of Spring City died Thursday , August 25, 2022 at the Rhea County Medical Center. Joe was born on June 24, 1943 to the late Ernest and Bessie Bennett in Missouri. Joe was a master mechanic and worked for 50 years for Bailey Reed Motors in Spring City. He loved to restore antique vehicles and motors. Joe was a member of the Spring City Seventh Day Adventist Church.

Joe was also preceded in death by his wife Martha J. Bennett in 2021. He was the last living sibling in his family.

Survivors include his sons Ernie Joe Bennett of Spring City and Jimmy Dean Bennett of Florida, stepson Willie (Tammie) Patton of Pikeville, Tennessee , several nieces and nephews and his dog " Ellie Mae" .

As per his request, there will be no services.
