Jimmy Sollomen, 60 of Dayton died on Wednesday, August 25, 2021 at Memorial Hospital in Chattanooga.

Born on September 20, 1960, Jimmy was a lifetime resident of this area.  He attended Rhea County High School.  Jimmy and his wife, Vickie, managed the Diamond Acres Farm for the last 14 years.  He was a jack - of - all trades, enjoyed estate sales and collecting antiques.  Jimmy was all about the kind and humane treatment of animals.  He was of the Protestant faith.

Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents James Alan and Mary Colleen Gann Sollomen, his son Josh Sollomen and his sister Brenda Gilliam.

Survivors include his wife Vickie Sollomen of Dayton, his children Heather (Scotty) Douglas of Evensville and Justin (Casey) Tabor of Crossville, his sister Kathy (Ricky) Reed of Grandview, his grandchildren Logan and Bryson Douglas, Paxton Sollomen and Bryson and Riley Tabor and his special friends Mert and Jolene Mynhier o f both Dayton and Naples, FL.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 31, 2021 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at Vaughn Funeral Home.  There will be no services.
