Jessie Mae Teffer Tallent, 82 of Evensville went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 26, 2022 at Rhea County Hospital.

Born on October 9, 1939 in Grandview, Tennessee, Jessie was the daughter of the late Lonas Reed and Mildred McFalls Reed.  She was a loving mother and grandmother that will be missed by so many.  Jessie was a member of Victory Baptist Church in Spring City, where she loved to sing unto the Lord.  We will see you again sweet mom.

Jessie was also preceded in death by her husband Bob Tallent, her daughter Johnnie Mae Teffer, her brother George Ed Reed and her sisters Ellen Sue J ones and Mary Lou Olinger.

She is survived by her daughter Katherine Teffer of Choctaw, OK, her son Buford (Carill) Teffer of Grandview, her daughter Nancy (Cesar) Martinez of Evensville, her 14 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
