Jerome F. Dinkens, 79 of Piketon , Ohio and formerly of Grandview died Thursday, June 21, 2018 at the Pavilion Nursing Home in Piketon.

Born in Cumberland County, Tennessee, Jerome was the son of the late David and Sarah Ann Smith Dinkens.  He worked for Carl Evans Landscaping Company for 27 years before retiring.  Jerome was of the Baptist faith.

He was preceded in death by his sisters Winoah Riggs and Beatrice Riggs and brother Clifford Dinkens.

Survivors include his wife Mandy Dinkens of Cookeville, Tennessee, children Jimmy Dinkens of Crossville , Tennessee , Barbara Spencer of Edon, Ohio, Randy Dinkens of Ft Myers, Florida, Danny Dinkens of Tracy City, Tennessee and Sandra Yates of Crossville , Tennessee , sister Wanda Danniels of Spring City , Tennessee , special friends Sue and Dan in Piketon, Ohio and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Funeral services are Saturday, June 23, 2018 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Vaughn Funeral Home with Rev. David Brock officiating.  Interment will be in the Mt. Zion Cemetery in Grandview.  The family will receive friends Saturday from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Vaughn Funeral Home.
