Jenny Lou Guthrie, 30 died Thursday, February 25, 2021 at her residence.

Born on April 30, 1990, Jenny was a lifetime resident of Spring City.  She attended Rhea County High School and was employed by the La-Z-Boy Corporation.  Jenny enjoyed singing on the app "Starmaker" .  She enjoyed her family and spending time with her fiancé of 9 years, Derrick Couch.

Jenny was preceded in death by her mother Carolyn McDonald Schultz.

Survivors include her fiancé Derrick Couch of Dayton, son Braylen Guthrie of Spring City, father Keith Guthrie of Dayton, stepfather Rober t "Bones" Schultz of Spring City, grandmother Esther McDonald of Spring City, grandfather Bill McDonald of Chattanooga , brother Derik Adam Brown of Cleveland, aunts Lou Emel , Marilyn Boles and Phyllis Hill all of Spring City and uncle John Guthrie of Dayton.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, March 2, 2021 at 2:00 pm at the Porter-Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Paul Forgey officiating.  There will be no visitation.
