Jeff S. Bogge ss age 52 passed away Saturday, October 27 , 2018 .

Born in Knoxville, TN , Jeff was employed at Watts Bar Nuclear Plant for over 28 years. He g raduated from Meigs Co. High School and University of TN at Chattanooga . Jeff was a member of 1st Baptist Church of Decatur and also attended New Union Baptist Church , Dayton , TN . He was a former member of the Meigs Co. School Board and was active in the " Partners i n Education " program at work. Jeff belonged to the Plumbers & Steam fitters Union Local #43 in Chattanooga . He coached softball for many years and loved all sports. Jeff was his daughters #1 Fan.

Jeff was preceded in death by h is m other Peggy Sue Edgemon Boggess and infant son Bo Boggess .

Survivors include his wife Lorrie Boggess of Dayton, his father Richard Boggess of Ten Mile, his daughters Morgan Boggess of Decat ur, Taylor Boggess of Cleveland and Macie Boggess of Decatur, his stepson s C.J. Shelton of Dayton, Tyler Shelton of Dayton and Jay (Danielle ) Graham of Dayton, his sister Missy (Chris) Denton of Ten Mil e, granddaughter Aaliyah Graham. The family would like to give thanks to Caitlyn "K.K." King for being Jeff' s caregiver, and also Kirby from Hospice of Chattanooga and Jennifer Shaver and a special thanks to Allie Shaver for being his inspiration. Jeff is also survived by his pal Sadie " the Pug " , who spent every day laying in his lap!

Funeral services will be Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at 11:00 AM at New Union Baptist Church , 4 0 60 Double S Road, Dayton, TN with Rev. Jeremy Deal and Rev. David Moore officiating. The body will lie in state at the church one hour before services. The fam ily will receive friends Monday, October 29 , 2018 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Vaughn Funeral Home . Interment will follow in the Edgemon Cemetery in Ten Mile .
