Jean n ette Long, 72 of Spring City died Thursday, March 25, 202 1 at Spring City Care and Rehabilitation Center.

Born on September 20, 1948, Jean n ette was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Lois Hinch Long. She was a graduate of Spring City High School and later attended Edmondson Business School. Jean n ette worked for the FBI in Washington, D.C. for several years and the F.C.C. before returning to Spring City to work for T.V.A. She was secretary to the site director before retiring after 35 plus years. Jea n nette was a member of the Sprin g City United Methodist Church; where s he was a faithful member of the Chancel C hoir. Jean n ette had a servant's heart and loved giving to others.

She was also preceded in death by her brother Elden Long.

Survivors include her sister Eldeena (George) Perry of Spring City, TN and her brother David (Marjorie) Long of Colorado Springs, CO.

A funeral service will be held Tuesday, March 30, 2021 at 2:00pm at the Spri ng City United Methodist Church with Jimmie Talley officiating. The body will lie in state at the church for 1 hour before the service. Interment will be in the Spring City Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday, March 29, 2021 from 6 to 8pm at Vaughn Funeral Home.
