Jeannette Elizabeth Lawson, 74 passed away Monday October 12, 2026 at Rhea Medical Center. She was born December 16, 1951 in the Netherlands to the late Jan and Jantje (Tuil) Appelo, moving to the United States as a young child. Jeannette and her husband Richard relocated to Spring City from Alaska in 2014.She attended Spring City Presbyterian Church.

She was an artisan who crocheted; had a loom for weaving, and had an amazing green thumb for house plants. She had a vast collection of delft blue pottery from the Netherlands.

Jeannette is also preceded in death by her husband Richard Lawson.

She is survived by her son; James (Michelle) Wilson of Mobile, Alabama along with seven grandchildren.

There will no visitation or services at this time.
