Janet Brock McEa che r n age 78 of Spring City, Tennessee died Friday, November 18, 2022 at her home.

Janet was born on November 15, 1944. She attended Spring City High School and graduated from Tennessee Tech University where she earned her Master's degree. Janet w orked for the Federal Aviation Admin istration and was a teacher. She loved to entertain and travel. She also enjoyed her family, especially her grandchildren. Janet was a member of Spring City Presbyterian Church.

Janet is preceded in death by her parents A.B. and Ruth Story Brock .

Survivors include her children Amanda McEachern of Gainesville, Virginia, Lauren (Ryan) Tallent of Spring City, Tennessee and Gideon "Tripp" (Jennifer) McEachern of Franklin, Tennessee; sisters Phyllis B. Silber of Richmond, Virginia and Susan Shadis of Greensboro, North Carolina; grandchildren Kaitlin Reed, Nicholas Colavita, Benjamin Colavita, Katherine Colavita, Riley Tallent, Elaine Tallent, Everett McEachern and Margaret McEachern; and great grandchild Collin Sanford.

A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Spring City Presbyterian Church, P . O . Box 455, Spring City, TN 37381.
