James F. "Jimmy" Roland, 61 of Grandview died Wednesday, October 6, 2021.

Bor n on July 30, 1960, Jimmy was a lifelong resident of Grandview.  He worked as a compound operator for Tenncate Grass for nine years. Jimmy attended Rhea County High School and enjoyed woodworking and fishing. He was fan of NASCAR and was of the Baptist faith.

Jimmy was preceded in death by his mother Leah Dodson and his brothers Mike Roland and Tommy Roland.

Survivors include his daughter Tiffany (Brad) Rolison of Booneville, Mississippi , his half- sister Susan Dodson of Atlanta , Georgia and his grandson Brad en James Rolison

Funeral se rvices will be held on Satur day, October 9 , 2021 at 3:00 PM in the chapel of Vaughn Funeral Home with the Rev. Paul Forgey officiating.  Interment will be in the Reed Cemetery in Grandview.  The family will receive friends on Saturday from 1PM until the hour of services at Vaughn Funeral Home.
