Helen Martin Bowman, age 90, of Spring City formerly of California, passed away on Tuesday, September 8, 2026 at Spring City Care and Rehab. Helen was born in London England to the late Charlie and Ann Ball Martin on April 6, 1936. She moved from California to Spring City about 3 years ago and was of the Episcopalian faith. Helen spent 20 years working at the Georgia Pacific Mill in California. Her absolute favorite thing to do was to play bingo, she also enjoyed bowling and playing the slot machines.

She is preceded in death by her husband; David Bowman Sr., son; David Bowman Jr., daughter; Olive Irwin and all of her brothers and sisters. Helen is survived by her son; John (Donna) Goodfellow of Spring City, daughter; Bethel Mc Garr of California, many grandchildren, several great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

There will be no visitation. A celebration of life service will be held at her son’s house at a later date.
