Spring City
Heidi Korb Henson, 75, of Spring, City, Tennessee, fell asleep in the Lord on Wednesday, September 9, 2015, after a brief illness. She was born in Germany, September 3, 1940, and immigrated to Ephrata, Pennsylvania, as a child. She attended nursing school in Pennsylvania, where she was trained as a nurse. Later she moved to Spring City, Tennessee, where she worked in the family-owned business.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Addie Korb, and life-long friend, Frances "Tenny" Walters.
She is survived by her son, Eric Henson, of Spring City, and by cousins, Hansel, Gretel, Hannah and Elsa Larese, of Pennsylvania.
Heidi enjoyed traveling, cooking and reading. She was a member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, Evensville, Tennessee.
A memorial service will be held at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, Evensville, Tennessee, at 10:30 a.m., Sunday, September 13 with private services at a later date. "Well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord." Matt. 25:23
