Hazel C. Wilkey, 99 , died Monday , July 20 , 20 20 at the Life Care Center of Rhea County .

Born in Hamilton County, Tennessee on October 15, 1920, Hazel was the daughter of the late Jim and Lennie Crowe Cox.  She was of the Baptist faith.

Hazel was preceded in death by her husband s Dock Rhodes and Quincy "Goob" Wilkey, her brother Charlie Cox and her sisters Ruth Norman, Nola Kerley, Margie Looper, Edith Barger and Ruby Shortridge.

Survivors include her son Garland "Bo" ( Linda) Rhodes of Vermilion, Ohio, nephews Mike and Velma Barger, Ken and Rowena Rhodes, Bob and Holly Shortridge, Dan and Connie Shortridge and Gary Looper, nieces Jimmy Ruth Barnes and Wanda Lovelady, two grandchildren, Ronnie H. Rhodes of Sheffield, OH and Linda S. Rhodes of Cleveland, OH and a very special granddaughter Kristen Colbaugh and two great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held on Fri day, July 24 , 20 20 at 11:00 a m at the Dayton City Cemetery with Rev. Clyde Fitzgerald officiating.  The family will receive friends Fri day, July 24 , 20 20 from 10:00 to 11:00 am at Coulter - Garrison Funeral Home in Dayton .
