Harold Curtis Fisher, 82, died Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at the Spring City Care and Rehabilitation Center.
A longtime resident of Spring City, Harold was the son of the late Mordie and Bertha Edith Smith Fisher. He retired from the United States Navy and served during the Korean Conflict. Harold retired from Martin Marietta. He was member of Bethel Baptist Church in Spring City. Harold loved to fish and garden.
He was preceded in death by his daughter Dixie Rasor, brothers Luther, Horace and Morgan Fisher and sisters Mary Kelly, Cratie Becker, Florence McCabe, Maxine Fisher and Patsy Clark.
Harold is survived by his wife Pearl M. Fisher of Spring City, children James Fisher of Grandview, John Fisher of Spring City, Patty Pickett of Pikeville, Jake (Jill) Fisher of Rockwood, Barbara (Tomas) Garcia of Hartland, Wisconsin, Jennifer (Daniel) Frank of Spring City and Gina Pounds of Dayton, Kentucky, sisters Rebecca (Chester) Boles of Spring City and Evelyn Kindrick of Harriman, Tennessee, 16 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
Funeral services are Thursday, June 1, 2017 at 7:00 pm in the chapel of Vaughn Funeral Home with Rev. Darrell Smith and Rev. Clyde Fitzgerald officiating. Interment with full military honors will be Monday, June 5, 2017 at 1:30 pm at the Chattanooga National Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Vaughn Funeral Home.
