Harley "Sol" Evans, 57 died Monday, December 14, 2020 at his home .

Born on April 8, 1963 , he was a lifetime resident of Grandview. Sol had worked as a truck driver for Rhea County.  He enjoyed raising dogs, especially Huskies .  Sol was of the Baptist faith.

He was preceded in death by his parents Lester and Vina Ray Evans, sister Roxie Wolfe and brothers Lester Ray Evans and Robert Wayne Evans.

Survivors include his wife Amy G. Evans of Grandview, stepsons Joe Couch of Evensville and Michael (Krista) Raulston of Kingston, TN, brothers Junior Cecil Evans and Eddie (Marsha) Evans both of Spring City, Kenny (Becky) Evans of Grandview and J. D. (Dianna) Evans of Shelbyville, TN, sisters Rosalee (Rodney) York of Lenior City and Wilma (George) Seals of Spring City and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Fri day, December 18 , 2020 at 2:00 p m in the chapel of Vaughn Funeral Home with Rev. Lawrence Waller officiating. Interment will be in the Johnson Stand Cemetery.

There will be no visitation.
