Gordon Webb, 82, died Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at Cumberland Medical Center in Crossville.

Born in Spring City, Gordon was the son of the late Yuclid and Belle Thompson Webb.  He was a veteran of the United State Marine Corps.

Gordon was a cabinet maker and had worked for Streamline Plastics in Knoxville.  He moved from Knoxville to the Crossville community in 1981.  Gordon was of the Baptist faith.

Gordon was preceded in death by his daughter Linda Nichols, son-in-law Dennis Nichols, brothers Clarence Webb, Max Webb, Marvin Webb and J. T. Webb and sisters Irene Christian and Wilma Sullivan.

Survivors include his wife Shirley Webb of Crossville, sons David Webb of Crossville and Dwight Webb of Knoxville, sisters May Belle (Dean) Hill of Spring City and Judelle Graves of Dayton, three grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Funeral services with military honors are Tuesday, October 10, 2017 at 11:00 am in the chapel of Vaughn Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Grace officiating.  Interment will be in the East Tennessee State Veteran Cemetery.   The family will receive friends Tuesday from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Vaughn Funeral Home.
