Gordon J. Buehler, 83, died Thursday, January 11, 2018 at the Spring City Care and Rehabilitation Center.

Born in Marshall, Arkansas, Gordon was the son of the late Otto and Janet Buehler. He was a forklift operator for Goodyear for 33 years before retiring in 1998. Gordon and his wife, Ruth, moved from Ohio to the Spring City community in 2002. He worked part-time at Vaughn Funeral Home. Gordon enjoyed woodworking, reading and working puzzles. He was a member of the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Evensville.

Gordon was preceded in death by his daughter Kathy Buehler, brothers Clayton, Tharon and Marlin Buehler and sister Rosella Salsberry.

Survivors include his wife Ruth L. Buehler of Spring City, daughters Laura Buehler of Scotland, Pennsylvania and Diane Hillyer of Logan, Ohio, son Mark Buehler of Bulls Gap, Tennessee, granddaughter Lisa Schein of Logan, Ohio and two great granddaughters.

There will be no services or visitation.
