Gloria Roberts, 83, formerly of Spring City, died Friday, February 16, 2018 at her son's home in Hazel Green, Alabama

A longtime resident of Spring City, she and her late husband Duayne "Rob" moved here from New Jersey in 1991. They were active in the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary. Gloria was the daughter of the late Jonathan Wesley and Ethel May Walker Jones Sr. She was a homemaker and attended St. Bridgett's Catholic Church in Dayton, TN. Gloria was also involved in several civic activities in the Spring City community.

Gloria was preceded in death by her husband Duayne "Rob" John Roberts, her brother Jack Jones Jr, and her sister Joanne Ogle.

Survivors include her children Jim Roberts of Hayes, VA, Russell Roberts of Morganton, NC, Marty Roberts of Hazel Green, AL, Dawn Dize of Hayes, VA and Terrie Basko of Jackson, NJ, brothers Gary Jones of Maryland and Larry David Jones of Glenrock, PA and sister Claudette (David) Kerr of Dayton, TN, 11 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Vaughn Funeral Home with Father Sam Sturm officiating. Interment will be in the Spring City Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Vaughn Funeral Home.
