Glenna Lee Sherrill age 52 of Spring City, Tennessee died on Monday, January 1, 2024 at CHI Memorial Hospital in Chattanooga.

She was born on September 6, 1971 and was a lifetime resident of the area. Glenna was a graduate of Rhea County High School. She loved to watch TV, shop, and spend time with her kids and grandchildren. Glenna was of the Pentecostal faith.

Glenna is preceded in death by her father Ted Simonds, and her sisters Vicki Peak and Rhonda Shelton.

Survivors include her mother Wilma Simonds of Spring City, Tennessee; her children Megan Sharp and Keith Newman both of Chattanooga, Tennessee and Matthew Newman of Cleveland, Tennessee; her two sisters Raelynne (Matthew) Davis of Spring City, Tennessee and Kathleen Henley-Shanor of Cookeville, Tennessee; her life partner Gerald Gillespie and her eight grandchildren.

A memorial service will be announce at a later date.
