Glenn E. Moffett, 86, died Saturday, March 24, 2018 at his home.

A lifetime resident of Spring City, Glenn was the son of the late Monroe and Ruby Boshears Moffett. He was a graduate of Spring City High School and a veteran of the U. S. Air Force. Glenn was a member of the Wolf Creek Baptist Church and recently attended the Spring City United Methodist Church with his grandchildren.

Glenn was preceded in death by his wife June O. Moffett and his brother Ed Moffett.

Survivors include his daughter Judith "Judy" Moffett, Chattanooga, sons Steven (Lois) Moffett, Bobby (Kim) Moffett and Larry (Jessica) Moffett all of Spring City, brothers Taft (Maxine) Moffett and Boyd Moffett both of Spring City and Kenneth (Linda) Moffett, Cleveland, Tennessee, sisters Lorene Porter and Addie (Paul) Tallent both of Spring City, Sarah Hudson, Lenior City and Imogene (Kenneth) Pendleton, Cleveland, Tennessee, eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

A memorial service with military honors will be held Friday, March 30, 2018 at 4:00 pm at the Wolf Creek Baptist Church in Spring City with Rev. Paul Forgey and Rev. Dale Wyrick officiating. The family will receive friends Friday from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm at the Wolf Creek Baptist Church

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Wolf Creek Baptist Church Children's Choir, 5225 Wolf Creek Road, Spring City, TN 37381.
