Glenda Maxine Keylon, 78, died Tuesday, July 2, 2019 at the Spring City Care and Rehabilitation Center .

A lifetime resident of Spring City, Glenda was the daughter of the late Glenn S. and Willette "Crickett" Beck Metts.  She was a graduate of Spring City High School and the Sanford Pharmacy School in Birmingham , Alabama .  Glenda was a pharmacist for 40 years and retired from Stan's Pharmacy in Dayton.  She continued to work part time at the Spring City Pharmacy until recent years. She was a member of the Spring City United Methodist Church , the United Methodist Women and Pairs and Spares Sunday School Class.  Glenda was also on the Mexico Medical Mission Team. This was her passion and she made the trip to Mexico for many years.

Glenda was preceded in death by her husband Ray Keylon.

Survivors include her so ns Billy Ray (Connie) Keylon and Steven Ray ( Beth ) Keylon both of Spring City , brother Bill y (Regina) Metts of Spring City , grandchildren Lindsay Shaver, Elise Gilliam and Hailey Keylon and great grandchildren Peyton Williams, Brady Williams, Keylon Shaver and Reid Shaver .

A memorial service will be held on Fri day, July 5 , 2019 at 4:00 p m at the Spring City United Methodist Church with Rev. Dale Wyrick officiating.  The family will receive friends Fri day from 2:00 pm until the time of the service at the church.
