Gardner E. Garrett Jr. 76 of E vensville died Friday, September 10, 2021 at his residence. Born in Spring City, he was the son of the late Gardner E. and Nora Agnes Henderson Garrett Sr.

Gardner worked most of his life in construction, working for both Harold Newby and Glenn Varner. He enjoyed fishing and taking care of horses.

He was also preceded in death by his wife Kathy Baldwin Garrett, his brothers Tommy and Clyde Garrett, his sisters Janie Palmer and Linda Hayes and his niece Amber Ivey.

Gardner is survived by his children, grandchildren, one brother, four sisters and several nieces and nephews.

Private graveside services were held in Spring City Cemetery.
