Fred Mullins Jr., 81 of Spring City died Sunday, July 11, 2021 at the Golden Years Retirement Resort in Spring City.

Born on March 31, 1940 , Fred was a lifetime resident of Spring City.  He was a maintenance worker and retired from TVA-Watts Bar after 25 years of service.  He liked to work on cars and loved watching and attending NASCAR Racing and car shows.  Fred enjoyed riding his bike as well as listening to and playing country and bluegrass music.  He was a member of the Spring City United Methodist Church.

Fred was preceded in death by his wife Linda J. Mullins, his parents Fred Mullins Sr. and Gladys Palmer Mullins Gowens, his brothers Lonnie and Donnie Mullins, Sam Mullins and Arthur Mullins and his sisters Sue Thompson and Della Mae Clark.

Survivors include his daughter Donna (fiancé Wayne Graves) Mullins of Spring City and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Saturday, July 17, 2021 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm at Vaughn Funeral Home.  There will be no services.
