Obituary

Frankie L. McFarland, 60, died Friday, September 15, 2017 at his home.


Born in Hamilton, Ohio, Frankie and his wife, Patty, moved to the Spring City community 23 years ago.  They owned and operated the Ketch-A-Bite Restaurant in Spring City for 18 years.  Frankie was a member of the Bible Christian Fellowship Church in Evensville, Tennessee.


He was preceded in death by his mother Henretta Cox McFarland, brother William McFarland and niece Missy Tufts-Hillian.


Frankie is survived by his wife Patty Skeen McFarland of Spring City, father Bill McFarland of Corbin, Kentucky, daughters Jennifer (Adam) Bostic of Iquitos, Peru and Sarah McFarland of Spring City, brothers Terry (Kim) McFarland of Spring City and Mack McFarland of Corbin, Kentucky, sisters Sandy (Chuck) Tufts of Spring City and Mona Guillermo of Corbin, Kentucky and grandchildren, John, Gracie, Serabelle and Abigail.


Funeral services are Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at 6:00 pm in the chapel of Vaughn Funeral Home.  Interment will be Thursday, September 21, 2017 at 1:00 pm at Corinth Cemetery in Corbin, Kentucky.  The family will receive friends Wednesday, September 20, 2017 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Vaughn Funeral Home.


In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Uncle Frankie Fund, c/o Vaughn Funeral Home, P. O. Box 129, Spring City, TN  37381.
