Frank Godsey, 76, died Monday, April 29, 2019 at his home .

A lifetime resident of Spring City, Frank was the son of the late Joe and Sally Cox Godsey. He was a mechanic for 39 years for the Sherwood Corporation before retiring. Frank attended the Friendship Baptist Church in Spring City.  He loved to garden and sell produce and also hunt and fish.  Frank loved his family, especially the great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his daughters Debra Thompson and Connie Thompson, brothers Rev. Allen Godsey, John, Arthur, Willard, Blaine and Wayne Godsey and sister Minnie Daniels.

Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Jane Reed Godsey of Spring City, daughter Pam (David) Corvin of Dayton, sister Eveline Ishan of Rockwood, 5 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren .

Funeral services are Wednes day, May 1 , 2019 at 4:00 p m in the chapel of Vaughn Funeral Home with Rev. Stephen Newell officiating.  Interment will follow in the Spring City Cemetery.  The family will receive friends Wednes day from 2:00 p m to 4:00 p m at Vaughn Funeral Home.
