Frances E. Clawson-Jordan age 71 of Spring City, Tennessee died on Tuesday, January 23, 2024 at Rhea Medical Center.

She was born on December 27, 1952 in Somerset, Kentucky to the late Leonard and Zora Troxell Dobbs. Frances was a nursery worker at First Baptist for 22 years. She also worked for the Rhea County Department of Education as a custodian for 36 years until her retirement in 2014. Frances was a member of the Rhea County Rescue Squad Crewettes. She enjoyed gardening, riding motorcycles, shooting guns, and playing pool. Frances was a member of Wolf Creek Baptist Church.

Frances is also preceded in death by her brother Forrest Dobbs, and her sister Connie Dobbs Jordan.

Survivors include her husband Marty Jordan of Spring City, Tennessee; her children Crystal (Randall) Janow and Dewey Keith Clawson both of Spring City, Tennessee; her sister Joan Brink of Spring City, Tennessee; and her two grandchildren Randall Brent Janow and Kristin Francine Janow.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, January 28, 2024 at 3:00 P.M. at Wolf Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Paul Forgey officiating. Interment will follow in Long Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 28, 2024 from 1:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. at Wolf Creek Baptist Church.
