Faye Murphy, 76 died on Friday, June 22, 2018 at the Cumberland Medical Center in Crossville, Tennessee.

A lifelong resident of Grandview, Faye was the daughter of the late James Edward and Mamie Garner O'Dear. She retired from Sherwood and worked at the Senior Lighthouse Center part time.  Faye was a member of the Reed's Chapel Church of God in Grandview.  She enjoyed making jewelry and making "dream catchers".  Faye loved animals.

She was preceded in death by her husband Richard "Dick" Murphy, sisters Betty King, Maxine Scott and Shirley Holloway, brothers James and Gary O'Dear and Uncle Dan Wheat.

Survivors include her children Trina (Don) Stuk of Middleville, Michigan, Triva (Jimmy) Womack of Spencer, Tennessee, Shelia Wilson (Chris Goins) of Grandview and Leland (Maria) Reed of San Diego, California, brother Homer O'Dear of Grandview, sister Barbara King of Sewanee, Tennessee, 11 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

Funeral services are Tues day, June 26 , 2018 at 3:00 p m in the chapel of Vaughn Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Taylor officiating.  Interment will be Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at 10:30 am in the Chattanooga National Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tues day from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm at Vaughn Funeral Home.
