Eddie "Tallman" Evans, 72 of Spring City died Sunday, June 6, 2021 at his home.

Born on April 29, 1949, Tallman was a lifetime resident of Grandview.  He retired from Talley Construction.  Tallman was a member of the Johnson's Chapel Baptist Church in G randview.

He was preceded in death by his parents Lester and Vina Ray Evans, his brothers Ray, Robert and Harley Evans, his sister Roxie Wolfe and his grandson Mason Evans.

Survivors include his wife Marsha C. Evans of Spring City, his children Lisa (John) Guthrie of Dayton, Edward (Mary) Evans of Loudon, TN, Billy (Amanda) Thedford, Sherry Motes and Julia Qualls all of Spring City, his brothers J. D. (Dianna) Evans of Shelbyville, TN, Junior Cecil Evans of Spring City and Kenny (Becky) Evans of Grandview, his sisters Rosalee (Rodney) York of Lenior City, TN and Wilma (George) Seals of Spring City, seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

The service will be private.  There will be no visitation.
