Earline "Mimi" Mobley, 9 1 died Wednesday, June 12, 2019 at the Spring City Care and Rehabilitation Center .
Born in Langl e y, South Carolina, Mimi was the daughter of the late Ernest and Nellie Harris Timmerman. She was a nurse for 40 years and retired working at the Holy Cross Hospital in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Mimi moved from Florida to the Spring City com munity 20 years ago. She was a dog lover and would always take in all strays. Mimi was of the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by her husband Ernest "Jack" Mobley and her sister Inez Owens.
Survivors include her son Wayne (Nancy) Gunter of Spring City, grandchildren Brian (Anita) Gunter of Spring City and Dana (Carl) Thunquist of Dayton, great grandchildren Drew Gunter, Cameron Thunquist and Karlee Thunquist, special cousin Linda Timmerman of Greenwood, South Carolina and special friend Joan Norris of Spring City.
Graveside services are Satur day, June 15 , 2019 at 2:00 p m in the Spring City Memorial Gardens with Rev. Jim Purser officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday from 1:00 p m to 2:00 p m at Vaughn Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Animal Shelter Alliance of Rhea, c/o Rhea County Animal Shelter, 9118 Back Valley Road, Evensville, TN 37332.
