Earl Keahey 82 died Thursday August 24, 2017. Earl was formerly of Spring City. Born in Sylacauga, AL, Earl was the son of the late Preston and Mary Elizabeth Hurt Keahey. He was a graduate of Spring City High School and attended Tennessee Wesleyan and the University of Tennessee. Earl served his country in the U. S. Army. He was a store manager with W. T. Grant for many years before purchasing The Western Auto store in Spring City. Earl was a member of the Spring City United Methodist Church.

He was preceded in death by his first wife Mickie Womack Keahey, sisters Edna Dause, Mildred Waters, Geraldine Terry and Barbara Fischesser.

Survivors include his wife Alice T. Keahey of Soddy Daisy, TN, three children Sherri O'Daniel of Los Angeles, CA, Randy (Cindy) Keahey and Michael Keahey both of Spring City, brother Drew Keahey of Birmingham, AL, two grandchildren Kristy Marcus and Bradley Keahey, and four great grandchildren Kadie Marcus, twins Taylee and Bryce Marcus and Nova Jo Marcus.

Funeral services will be Sunday August 27, 2017 at 3pm at the Spring City United Methodist Church with Rev. Dale Wyrick officiating. Interment will follow in the Spring City Memorial Gardens with Military Honors.
