Doyle C. Price 80 died Sunday, October 6, 2019 in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Born in Rhea County, he was the son of the late Estell Gordon and Rena Dennis Price. Doyle was a graduate of Spring City High School, where he played football.  He owned and operated Doyle's Dozer Works for over 30 years. Doyle enjoyed farming ; where he raised Holstein cattle and grew strawberries for many years . He especially enjoyed spending time with his family and grandchildren. Doyle also like d to hunt with his friends. He atte nded Texas Grove Baptist Church in his youth .

Doyle was also preceded in death by his son James Doyle Price and his brothers Gordon Price and Anderson Price.

Survivors include his daughters Deborah Price of Louisville, KY, Marcia (Michael) Price Shown of Chesterfield, VA and Claudine Price of Dayton, TN, brothers Lester Price and Kenneth Price both of Spring City, special friend Billy Cranfield of Spring City and several grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, October 8, 2019 at 2:00pm in the chapel of Vaughn Funeral Home with Dr. Roger Rothwell officiating. Interment will follow in the Spring City Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour before services at Vaughn Funeral Home.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Michael Shown, Nicholas Denton and Billy Canfield.
