Dorothy Smith Price Thompson, 84, of Soddy Daisy, TN, passed away Saturday, Nov. 10, 2018. She was born in the St. Clair area of Spring City, TN and cherished her St. Clair community, church and friends. She attended St. Clair grammar school and graduated from Spring City High School in 1952. She was a faithful member of the Daisy United Methodist Church for many years. She, also , assisted her husband, Rev. Lynn Thompson at several area churches.

She was preceded in death by two husbands, Kenneth Clifton Price and Robert Lynn Thompson. Also, she was preceded in death by parents, John A. Smith and Ruth Gibson Smit h ; two sisters Beul ah Barker and Mary Ann Harrison and one brother Robert Franklin Smith.

Survivors i nclude three sons John Clifton Price ( Merlene ), Kenneth Timothy Price (Pam), Robert Jeffrey Thompson (June); Grandmom to four grandchildren Julie King (Jason), Daniel Price (Bethany), James Price (Bekah), Dr. Beth Derryberry (Tommy); and sev en precious great grandchildren Mathew Price, Sam Price, Collin King, Anna Price, Rowan King, Charlie Derryberry and Emma Price; three nephews and one niece.

A memorial service shall be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, November 17, 2018 at Daisy United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society @ https://www.cancer.org/involved/donate/memorial-giving.html .
