Don Janow age 65 of Spring City, Tennessee died on Friday, November 3, 2023 at the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville.

He was born on April 16, 1958 to Gaither and Lois Fugate Janow. Don was a graduate of Rhea County High School. He worked at La-Z-Boy for a while, then started working for himself as a painter. Don enjoyed television and listening to music. He attended Wolf Creek Baptist Church.

Don was preceded in death by his father Gaither Janow.

Survivors include his mother Lois F. Janow of Spring City, Tennessee; children Brandie Lee Janow of Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and Heather (Jeff) Rogers of Crossville, Tennessee; and his grandchildren Talal and Riley.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 6, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Vaughn Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Ward and Rev. Robert Hurd officiating. Interment will follow at Wolf Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday, November 6, 2023 from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Vaughn Funeral Home.
