Diane Ezell Hamby age 70 of Spring City, Tennessee died on Friday, June 23, 2023 at her residence.
She was born on April 28, 1953 to the late Erie and Addie Neil Ezell. Diane was a graduate of Spring City High School "Class of 1971." She worked in the textile industry most of her life, lastly at LEP Industries. Diane enjoyed cooking, making quilts and flower gardening. She was of the Protestant faith.

Diane is also preceded in death by her husband Houston Hamby, her brothers Donald, James, Paul and Doyle Ezell, and her sisters Barbara Ezell and Dorothy Ezell Rice.

Survivors include her sister Mary Ezell of Dayton, Tennessee; two step children Lisa Bauer of Spring City, Tennessee and Sam Houston Hamby of Chattanooga, Tennessee; three grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and nieces and nephews Stephanie Ezell Moore, Kim Ezell, Beverly Swafford, Valerie Ezell, Barbie Ezell Smith, Donald Ezell and Tim Ezell.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, June 27, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at Harris Cemetery in Grandview, Tennessee with Rev. Clyde Fitzgerald officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Vaughn Funeral Home.
