Devon N. Janow, 43 of Dayton died Wednesday, June 23, 2021 at Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga.

Born on February 20, 1978, Devon was a lifetime resident of this area .  She attended Rhea County High School.  Devon worked at S & S Sportswear .  She enjoyed photography , but her daughter Chelsey, was her life.  Devon attended the Watts Bar Church of God.

Devon was preceded in death by her mother Shelia Janow Smart and her grandmother Sharon Goss.

Survivors include her daughter Chelsey Janow of Dayton, her father Bobby Smart Sr. of Scottsboro, AL, her companion Michael Godbehere of Dayton, her brothers David Janow of Spring City, Scotty Smart of Evensville and Bobby Smart Jr. and Joey Smart both of Scottsboro, AL, her sister Carla Skyles of Chattanooga and her dog Tide Janow.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 26, 2021 at 3:00 pm in the chapel of Vaughn Funeral Home with Rev. Alfreda Hyatte officiating.  I nterment will follow in the Friendship Cemetery in Spring City.  The family will receive friends Saturday from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm at Vaughn Funeral Home.
