Dolores I. Meeks age 92 of Rockwood, Tennessee died on Sunday, October 20, 2024 at her residence.

She was born on September 26, 1932 in Jacksonville, Florida to the late William Trent and Hermine Mary Brown Meeks and was a recent resident of this area. Dolores primarily lived in Florida until her decline in health lead her to move in with her daughter in Georgia. She attended Florida State University and received her nursing degree from Indian River Community College. She worked as a Registered Nurse for 25 years at Martin Memorial Hospital. Dolores liked art and loved to paint. She enjoyed gardening and dancing with her late twin brother Irl Meeks. Dolores was of the Baptist faith.

Dolores is also preceded in death by her son Eric William Judah, her brother John Meeks, and her sister Marilyn Monaco.

Survivors include her children Kevan (Debbie) Wayne Judah of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Lisa (Ken) Robinson of Rockwood, Tennessee, and Clay Jeffery Judah of Warner Robbins, Georgia; her two grandchildren Inez Cruce and Levi Kent Drake; and her six great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 25, 2024 at 3:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Vaughn Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Shepherd officiating. Interment will follow in Glen Alice Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday, October 25, 2024 from 1:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. at Vaughn Funeral Home.
