Delbert Reed age 65 of Grandview, Tennessee died on Friday, June 30, 2023 at Hospice of Chattanooga. He was born on July 9, 1957 to the late Lester and Susie Edwards Reed. Delbert was a graduate of Rhea County High School and worked as a logger most of his life. He enjoyed raising chickens and other farm animals. To pass the time, Delbert enjoyed playing with his great great niece Payslee throwing her red ball. He loved his family. Delbert was of the Pentecostal faith.

Delbert is also preceded in death by his brother Lee Roy Reed and his sister Laverne Stewart.

Survivors include his brothers Kenneth (Linda) Reed of Spring City, Tennessee and Titus Reed of Crossville, Tennessee; sisters Judy (Eddie) Cox of Hixson, Tennessee and Brenda (Rick) Thomas of Dayton, Tennessee; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 3, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Vaughn Funeral Home with Rev. L. J. Davis officiating. Interment will follow at Reed Cemetery in Grandview, Tennessee. The family will receive friends on Sunday, July 2, 2023 from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Vaughn Funeral Home.
